The history of the Northern Great Plain tribes is made visible in this small but outstanding museum in Browning. The exhibits document the history and migration of the Plains Indian from the Blackfeet Tribe to the Assiniboine and Sioux. Also documented are the cultures, lifestyles, clothing, and history of the Plains Indian. The museum contains a wonderful collection of Indian art and beadwork along with contemporary items for sale. The multi-media show, Winds of Change, is a must-see. The museum is open year round. From June through September and an admission is charged.
