Fishtail General Store

The Fishtail General Store has been operating in the same location since 1900. Visit their old meat market featuring their world famous “Fishtail General Store Special Sausage.” This is truly a “general” store with a little bit of everything including food, Montana-made products, hardware, provisions for camping and hunting and fishing licenses. Enjoy something from their deli, a fresh pizza, homemade soups, and fresh baked goods daily. Be sure to try their homemade cinnamon rolls, specialty blackberry jam, and pies made on the premises. The original pot-belly stove still keeps the place warm. Handmade crafts, toys, wall hangings, candles and soaps made by local folks are on display. Accept all major credit cards with an ATM on the premises. Open 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. with breakfast and lunch served daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
