The Pond Cabin, its lake and pond system, command a breathtaking view of the majestic Absaroka Mountain range twenty minutes from Yellowstone Park and 5 minutes from the Yellowstone River at Pray, Montana, Paradise Valley. Water cascades from Emigrant Peak, highest in the Absaroka Range (11,000'), and flows through our six-acre waterway complex. Trophy Browns, Cutthroats, and Rainbow trout to 5lbs are common. Local deer and elk herds roam the ranch throughout the year, mixing seasonally with Yellowstone herds. Late fall and early winter counts exceeding a thousand animals are not uncommon.
When booking the Pond Cabin, the ranch is yours to explore. Picnicking, hiking, and photography top an endless list of possibilities, and of course the fishing is always spectacular. The Pond Cabin was built in 2000 and for the first time in 20 years, exclusive access to our Ranch ponds and lake was established. Constructed of Cedar and Logs, the Pond Cabin is a stunning getaway with breathtaking views, all in the heart of the Montana Rockies.
