Poplar, located on the Fort Peck indian Reservation, offers visitors many aspects of American Indian culture, through the Assiniboine and Sioux Culture Center and Museum and several powwows each year. Fish, swim or boat on the Poplar River, Missouri River, or Fort Peck Lake. Hunting and trap shooting are available.
