| With easy access from Highway 89, this 12,000-acre management area is a magnificent place to enjoy the splendor of millions of birds that migrate here. At peak migration times (MarchMay, SeptemberNovember) up to 300,000 snow geese and 10,000 tundra swans have been seen here. Ibis, herons, sandhill cranes, gulls, eagles, hawks and owls are just a few other birds spotted here. This area is a great place to camp or bike. |
