Trace the steps through the history of the Deer Lodge Valley at this museum. On display here is the extensive Paul Elberson gun collection. This eclectic collection contains a blend of frontier era firearms, muskets, and World War I and II weapons. There is also an excellent collection of slot machines, and a fascinating collection of old Wurlitzer juke boxes dating from 1938-1948. In the back room is a typical home from the 1920-1940 era with a kitchen, parlor and nursery. In addition to the permanent exhibits, there is a steady stream of changing exhibits. The museum is open from noon to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is free.
