| From Lewistown, take Hwy. 87 west for approximately 12 miles. At the Crystal Lake sign, turn left on a gravel road for about 10 miles to FS road 275. Follow this road for another nine miles to the lake. This shallow alpine lake is nestled on the northwestern slope of the Big Snowy Mountains at about 6,000 feet. It is stocked with rainbow trout each year and is an excellent place to fish. There are a number of trails in the area including several accessible to handicapped persons. |
