The Maize
Townsend, MT

Townsend may be small, but its population booms each September and October when the area’s renowned rows of corn are turned into a legendary maze that will challenge even the most direction-oriented individuals. Twelve acres of corn welcome adults and children from near and far with participants attempting to wind their way from start to finish. Worried about getting lost? Don’t be. Help is never far away, and other visitors are always willing to lend a hand and offer directions.

Known as “The Maize,” this event also features a simple straw hay bale maze for young children, corn treats for young and old, and special Halloween activities. Field trips are offered upon advance request, and group discounts are available. The Maize is open Fridays from 5 PM - 9 PM and Saturdays from 12 PM - 9 PM.
