Take a tour of the Rosebud Mine in Colstrip. You can’t miss the operation when you head for the town. The visitor center has video presentations of the surface coal mine, the Colstrip power generating plants and the town site. It is open year round and admission is free. The tour takes about 90 minutes to complete.
