Custer County Art Center

Location:

Water Plant Rd., West of Miles City.
Phone: (406) 232-0635

Housed in the historic Miles City Water Works and built in 1910 and 1924, the Custer County Art Center is a unique venue for art displays. The old water tanks now hold art, sculpture, photographs and other displays. The art center fills nearly 7,000 square feet of exhibit and work space and earned the Governor’s Historic Preservation Award for best adaptation of a historic structure in 1979. The facility is located on the banks of the Yellowstone River, so the grounds are just as beautiful as the building itself. Open Feb.–Dec., Tues.–Sat. 1–5.
