Phil and Patty Aaberg are proprietors of The Great Northern Bed & Breakfast, located in the heart of Chester. The renovated 1909 farm cottage features a steam shower and a stained glass window by local artist Craig Waldron depicting the Great Northern’s Empire Builder roaring across the high plains. Adjacent to the Liberty Village Arts Center and within walking distance of the Liberty County Museum and downtown Chester’s shops and cafés, this one bedroom retreat welcomes you to Big Sky country. Breakfast dishes inspired by the menus from the Empire Builder and the northern Star, legendary passenger trains of the Great Northern Railway.
