Upper Missouri River Visitor Center

Location: 1718 Front St., Fort Benton
Contact: (406) 622-5185

This riverfront center outlines the Lewis and Clark travels with archaeological displays and a multimedia presentation; maps of their campsites are also provided. It’s a wonderful place to learn about the Missouri River, its history or obtain information concerning today’s most popular activity—floating the river. Also, interpretive exhibits explain the historical impact the Missouri River has had on both this area and the entire nation.
