RJ's Toggery, Gifts, & Liquor Store

RJ’s Toggery, Gifts, and Liquor Store is located in the Historic Bloodiest Block in the West across from the Missouri River and old walking bridge. The liquor store building, listed on the National Historical List was once a Chinese restaurant with an opium den in the basement. This is the only clothing store or liquor store in town. They offer many other interesting souvenirs from Fort Benton and a variety of unusual gifts, a complete selection of wine, and a large collection of Fort Benton and Montana T-shirts and sweatshirts. They have “Shep” souvenirs, lariat baskets and clocks made from locally used lariats, along with Indian and locally made jewelry. This is one of two locations where you will find Brother Charles’s hand-made tradtional Shaker Boxes made right in Fort Benton.
