Lohman

Once a station on the Great Northern Railroad line, this community derives its name after the Lohman family. As early settlers to the area, the Lohman family helped develop the community, opening banks as well as establishing the first post office in 1916. Despite the Lohman contributions, area industry could not sustain the population, and in 1964, postal services ceased.
