Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Ranch


Location: 11 miles west of Dupuyer. 472-3380
This ranch is operated by the Boone and Crockett Club, a national conservation organization. Theodore Roosevelt established the Boone and Crockett Club in 1887. It is one of the oldest conservation organizations in the world. In 1986, the club purchased a working ranch here and opens portions to the public for wildlife viewing. It has an excellent 1.375 mile watchable wildlife trail that is open nine months of the year. It is only closed during hunting season. You can expect to see a wide range of wildlife here including grizzlies, black bears, mule deer, elk, bobcats, beaver, mountain lions, golden eagles, and a variety of bird life.
