Council Grove State Park

Location: In Missoula on 1-90 at Reserve St Exit, 2 miles south on Reserve St., then 10 miles west on Mullan Rd.
Council Grove is the site where the Hellgate treaty was signed, which established the Flathead Indian Reservation. The park preserves the location of the 1855 council between Isaac Stevens and the Flathead Kootenai, and the Pend d’Oreille Indians.
