Located just two miles west of East Glacier Park, the Schauf Family has owned and operated the Bison Creek Ranch since 1952. Les and Edna Schauf and sons, Keith and Steve, started as a dude ranch and operated a family dining room. Edna’s chicken is still a local favorite! Bison Creek Ranch continues as a family run business today. At Bison Creek guests relax, visit, hike, and watch wild flowers grow. A small stream flows through the property and is open to fishing. (License required.) Great fishing is nearby in Glacier National Park and the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. The restaurant offers awesome western homecooking and they’ll even prepare your catch after a day of fishing.
