| The Half-Way Motel, Restaurant & Store is located on the Southern tip of Glacier National Park, half-way between the Park entrances of East Glacier and West Glacier on Highway #2. It is nestled in Montana's great wilderness and borders the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Summer activities include hiking, biking, rafting, horseback riding and fishing. Winter activities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Essex is only 55 miles from the Big Mountain. All of the large Motel rooms have two double beds, a full shower/bath combination, refrigerators, microwaves, and cable TV. The popular restaurant has a full-service menu, excelling in breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Store has many essential items for your convenience.
