| This 10 acre preserve is home to huge western red cedars, some more than 500 years old. This is a favorite place for kids who love to crawl inside many of the trees which are hollowed out. Some of the trees are 175 feet tall and 12 feet in diameter. There is a paved nature trail and benches along the way. The self-guided nature trail winds in and out of the majestic trees for a mile. Keep alert for the elves and trolls that inhabit this fantasy land. |
