| The dam and visitor center was named for Robert Yellowtail who was a prominent tribal leader of the Crow throughout the 1900s. The dam spans 1,480 feet across the Bighorn Canyon and stands 525 feet tall. The visitor center provides information about the dam and how it was built. An interesting fly-fishing exhibit compares man-made flies with their natural counterparts. |
