Hailstone National Wildlife Refuge
Location: East of Rapelje
This is a great stop for Birdwatchers-with the large lake and prairie lands that attracts a large amount of waterfowl including white pelicans, mallards, teals, grebes and many more-especially during migration. There is a viewpoint on the hill, where you may also spot, pronghorn, eagles, owls and hawks.
