|
Situated in the mountains neighboring Sweet Grass County, Limestone derives its name after the vast limestone deposits found throughout Stillwater County. Settled in the early 1900s, Limestone acquired a post office in 1910 with Mabel Wright serving as first postmaster. With a dwindling population, the post office closed its doors in 1953. |
