Park City |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Park City used to be a docking point for boats traveling on the Yellowstone River, and was called Young’s Point. A group of settlers from Wisconsin settled here and planted many elm and maple trees on their land. When the railroad came through, the area was named Rimrock because of the dry sandstone landscape, but the settlers were aiming for more trees and green grass and chose the name Park City instead. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
