| This was a railroad station and a stopping place for travelers on their way to Hunter’s Hot Springs. It took its name from the many springs that surround the area. The only thing left of Hunter’s today is a fire hydrant sitting mysteriously in a field. This is near the spot where Capt. Lewis and his group lost their horses to Indian raiders.
