| Here, natural mineral hot springs provide a soak in a rustic facility including a large medium-hot pool, a smaller hot pool, and a sauna. The pool temperature averages 95 degrees F year round. The Lost Trail Pass was named after an error by the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Although, they were lost in the area of the current Lost Trails Hot Springs, they didn’t see it at that time. The recorded first inhabitant was in 1892 when a woman built a cabin nearby to provide therapeutic soaks for her ailing son. Now open daily from June until Labor Day with a pool fee and some winter hours. Camping, lodging, and dining are all available year round. |
