| Built in 1900 as the Ravalli County Courthouse, the museum displays extensive Flathead Indian artifacts, a veteran’s exhibit, and “Apple Boom Days” relics. The museum houses the catalogued archives of all of the old newspapers published in the valley. Items are also exhibited from the Rocky Mountain Lab Tick Museum which contributed to important research on spotted fever and wood ticks responsible for disease since World War I. On Sundays you can enjoy a special program on such things as history, cowboy poetry or folk music. |
