| Rocking Z is a full service guest ranch owned by Zack and Patty Wirth, fourth generation Montana ranchers. They offer a superb horseback riding program for Day Riders, as well as ranch guests. Lessons are available for all levels of riders, and take you from valleys to mountain tops. Guest rooms are new, large, luxurious, furnished with log furniture, have private baths, and heated with a cast iron stoves. Fantastic ranch meals are prepared with only fresh ingredients, and include breads, pies, and cookies made in their own kitchen. Evening activities include campfires, dancing, storytelling, and singing, topping days filled with hiking, birding, fishing, history, and Lewis & Clark lore. Reservations are recommended, but not always necessary. Stay for one night or several. They are conveniently located between Helena and Great Falls. | |||||||||
