At 7,000ft elevation in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest lies the 2 acre Mono Creek Campground. There are 5 campsites located across the road from Mono Creek in a thick timbered area. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Vault toilets and drinking water are available. Maximum trailer length is 18 feet. This is a pack in pack out campground. Hiking trails nearby. Open all year with services only available Memorial Day through September 15. There is a fee for camping and a maximum stay of 16 nights.
Directions: The campground is located about 22 miles south of Wise River on Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway Road 73. Take Forest Road 2465 southeast 1 mile to the area.
