This rustic cabin sleeps up to six people in 3 sets of bunk beds. Need to bring your own bedding. No water or electricity. Wood burning stove. Firewood available June 1-September 30th. Cooking facilities are not provided. $35/night. A stock corral is provided. Feed must be Certified Weed Seed Free. Creek nearby. Access to the cabin is via a semi-primitive dirt road. Four-wheel drive is suggested. After December 1 only way to the cabin is hiking, snowshoeing, skiing or snowmobiling seven miles.
Location: Crandall Creek Cabin is located approximately 24 miles Northeast of Wilsall, (52 miles from Livingston).
Directions:Crandall Creek Cabin is located approximately 24 miles Northeast of Wilsall, (52 miles from Livingston). To get to the cabin drive North from Livingston on Highway 89 to Wilsall, Mt. then turn Northeast from Highway 89 onto Shields River Road. Follow the Shields River Road until the pavement ends, turn right at the end of the pavement, travel approximately 7 miles to a fork in the road, take the left fork towards the Shields River Camp (approximately 2 miles to the Camp). About 100 yards beyond the campground take a left onto a gated road. Your cabin combination will open the gate. The cabin is located 200 yds down this road.
