Pete Creek Campground

General info

This campground is next to Yaak River and Pete Creek.  Beautiful campground with 13 secluded sites, each with a table and fire ring.  The River is seasonal for floating, but there are no put in at the campground.  Fishing for Rainbow, Brook, and Cutthroat Trout is popular.  Vault toilets with 1 water spigot available.  Open seasonal Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.  $7/day fee with a maximum stay of 14 days.

DIRECTIONS: From Troy, MT, take US Rt. 2 west 10.3 miles to State Rt. 508 (Yaak River Rd.).  Turn right onto Rt. 508 and go 26.7 miles to campground sign.  Turn right into campground.
