At 4,000ft elevation, this 10 site campground is on a bluff overlooking the “Blue Ribbon” Rock Creek. This is adjacent to the Welcome Creek Wilderness. The campground is a great location for wildlife viewing, and fishing for Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat and Bull Trout as well as Whitefish. Bull Trout is catch and release. Vault toilets and 1 water spigot is available. Open seasonal May 1 through September 30. $6/day with a maximum 14-day stay.
DIRECTIONS: From Clinton, MT, take Interstate 90 east 4.7 miles to Rock Cr Rd. (Exit 126). At end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Rock Creek Rd. and go 14.5 miles to campground sign. Turn right into campground.
