At 5,500ft elevation lies the Richardson Campground located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest in the Castle Mountains. There are 3 campsites available. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets available. No water. This is a pack in pack out campground. Proper food storage is required since bears frequent this area. Richardson Creek nearby for fishing as well as trails for hiking. No fee for camping. Maximum stay is 16 days. Open Summer through Fall. Maximum trailer length is 16 feet.
Directions: Turn south near Mile Post 49 about 7 miles east of White Sulphur Springs on US Highway 12, then go 5 miles south on Forest Road 211.
