See LIVE grizzlies and wolves and get a fascinating glimpse into their worlds. Activities include Keeper Kid’s (kid’s help hide food for the bears), Wolf Enrichment, a Karelian Bear Dog, live Bird-of-Prey demonstrations, Junior Tracker (radio-collar a model bear), Safety in Bear Country Programs, Yellowstone Park Ranger Talks, a World-Class Exhibit, movies and staff presentations.
The main purpose of the Center is to help visitors gain knowledge about grizzlies and wolves through educational programs. Visitors can spend their time watching these fascinating animals interact in their outdoor habitats. If you want to be guaranteed to see bears and wolves in Yellowstone, come visit us! The Center offers a variety of different programs and activities for the whole family.
Grizzly bears that live at the Center are animals that were unable to survive in the wild for different reasons. Many were orphaned when their mothers became used to obtaining food from human areas. Others had been labeled “nuisance bears” because they were becoming dangerously comfortable around humans.
