The main purpose of the Center is to help visitors gain knowledge about grizzlies and wolves through educational programs. The Center offers a variety of different programs and activities for the whole family.
Grizzly bears that live at the Center are animals that were unable to survive in the wild for different reasons. Many were orphaned when their mothers became used to obtaining food from human areas. Others had been labeled “nuisance bears” because they were becoming dangerously comfortable around humans.
