Hilltop’s name comes from its location on a hilltop between Wade and Cliff Lakes. Food storage is an order, this means all food must be stored in bear-proof lockers that are provided, in motor vehicles, suspended, or bear-proof containers. There are 18 sites open late May through mid-September. There are 4 water spigots and vault toilets. Cliff and Wade Lakes Interpretive Trail is 1 mile in length. $15/day fee. Maximum stay is 16 days.
Directions: The Campground Is About 37 Miles South Of Ennis On Highway 287. Turn West At The Cliff And Wade Lakes Sign On Highway 287, Then Take Forest Road 241 West For 5 Miles To The Campground.
