These campsites overlook the Gallatin River.  There is traffic noise from U.S. Rt. 191. Close by Big Sky offers biking, hiking, rafting, weekend concerts, shops, theater, restaurants and art galleries. There are 13 sites, 4 with pull-through and no hookups.  This is bear country so safe food storage should be practiced. Bear-resistant containers are available. Fishing the Gallatin River for Rainbow, Brown, Brook and Cutthroat trout and Whitefish is popular.  Vault toilets and 1 water spigot available.  Open seasonal May 15 through September 27. $15/day with a 16-day maximum stay.

DIRECTIONS: In Big Sky, MT, at the intersection State Rt. 64 and US Rt. 191, take Rt. 191 north 8.1 miles to campground sign.  Turn left into campground.
