The campground has 16 sites located in a heavily wooded valley at 6,640ft elevation. Each site has a table and fire ring. This is a pack in pack out campground with vault toilets and 1hand pump water spigot. Safe food storage should be practiced since this is bear country. There are bear-resistant boxes available. Open seasonal June 1 through October 31-weather dependent. Hiking trails close by. $7/day with a maximum stay of 16 days.
DIRECTIONS: From Gardiner, MT, take US Rt. 89 north 16 miles to Tom Miner Rd. Turn left onto Tom Miner Rd. and go 0.4 miles to "T" intersection and sign - Tom Miner Basin. Turn left and go 7.9 miles to "Y" intersection (and Tom Miner campground sign/Tom Miner Creek Rd.). Continue left on Tom Miner Creek Rd. and go 2.9 miles to another "Y" intersection (and Tom Miner campground sign). Continue right and go 0.3 miles to campground.
