This 12 designated site campground sits at 6,350ft elevation in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Each site had a table and fire ring. Vault toilets and water available. Pack in pack out. Proper food storage is a must since this is bear country. Campground accommodates horses. Bear Creek Trailhead close by. This trail goes through the Lee Metcalf Wilderness. Open June 1 through October 30. No fee. Maximum stay is 16 days.
Directions: From Ennis travel south ohn Highway 287 for approximately 10 miles. Turn east on Bear Creek Loop at Cameron, Mt. Follow the signs to the campground.
