Two primitive high-country hot springs pools on public land high in the Tobacco Root Mountains. The road to the nearby campground is unplowed during the winter. A little hiking and dodging cattle are about the only restriction to getting into the soaking pools. Water temperatures in the pools vary from 104 to 110 degrees F. The road to the nearby campground is unplowed during the winter. There is a nice 15 site campground located on the east side of the Tobacco Root Mountains with South Willow Creek running through the middle. Picnic tables, vaulted toilets, parking, and drinking water available (water available spring/summer). Campers up to 22 feet. No fees for this area. This area is lightly used.
Directions: From Harrison travel West on Pony Road for about 7 miles. At Pony, take South Willow Creek Road South for 10 miles. Follow the signs to the campground.
