In a heavily wooded pine area adjacent to Miner Lake there are 18 campsites, some overlook the lake. This is a pack in pack out campground. Safe food storage recommended since this is bear country. Open year-round with services available Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day-weather dependent. Vault toilets and 2 water spigots available. Boat ramp for power boats, fishing for Trout, Arctic Grayling and Mountain Whitefish, and canoeing can be enjoyed on the 54 acre Miner Lake. $7/day. Maximum stay 16 days.
DIRECTIONS: From Jackson, MT, take State Rt. 278 south 0.5 miles to Lower Miner Lakes sign (Miner Lake Rd.). Turn right onto Miner Lake Rd. and go 9.6 miles to campground.
