The drive through this park takes you through a narrow 3,000 ft. deep canyon. The road is narrow and winding and not friendly to large trailers. In fact, several stretches of the road are single lanes only. Lost Creek Falls cascade over a 50-foot drop to provide one of the most scenic and popular spots in the park. Mountain goats, bighorn sheep, and other wildlife are frequently seen on the cliffs above the creek. Interpretive displays, camping, picnic area, fishing, trails, and disabled access (toilet).
The campground has 25 sites for tent and RV camping. No hookups. Limestone cliffs and white and pink granite formations tower above. Creek Falls is a 50-foot spectacular waterfall. Mountain goats are commonly sighted among the cliffs. Activities include wildlife viewing, hiking, camping, fishing, and biking. Vaulted toilets and water are available. Pack in pack out. Each site has a table and fire ring. Open May 11- November 30. $6/night stay, $4/ day use.

To locate Lost Creek State Park, turn north onto Highway 48 near milepost 6 just east of Anaconda, go about 1/4 mile and turn west onto Highway 273, then 2 miles and turn left and go 4 miles on the paved road plus 3 miles on the gravel road to the dead end. From Interstate 90, take Montana Highway 1 to Anaconda. Approximately 2 miles east of Anaconda take Galen Road, following signs to the park.
