At 5,500ft elevation lies the Copper Creek Campground located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. There are 7 campsites on the Middle Fork of Rock Creek. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. This is a pack in pack out campground. Vault toilets and water available. Fishing enjoyed on the creek. No fee for campsites. Maximum stay 16 days. The season opens May.
Directions: From Philipsburg travel South on Highway 1 for about 6.5 miles. Take Highway 38 West for 9 miles. Turn o Middle Fork Road (Forest Road 5106) and continue approximately 10 miles to the campground.
