Beaver Creek Campground is less than 100 feet from the Spotted Bear River. There are 4 campsites. Each with a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets. No water. This is a pack in pack out campground. There is hitchrails, feed bunks, and a stock unloading ramp. Proper food storage including stock feed is required since this is bear country. No fee for camping. Open May 15 through November 30. Maximum stay 14 days.
Directions: Beaver Creek Campground is accessed from Highway 2. From the town of Hungry Horse, drive east on Highway 2 for Ω mile to the East Side Reservoir Road #38. Turn right (south) onto Road #38 and drive on through the town of Martin City. After two miles the pavement ends and the gravel East Side Reservoir Road continues on 54 miles to Spotted Bear River Road #568. Turn left (east) onto Road #568 and drive 9 miles to Beaver Creek Campground, which is located on the right (south) side of the road. NOTE: Road #38 between mileposts 37 and 53, and the entire Road #568 both have a winter wildlife closure from 12/1 - 5/14.
