General info

This campground consists of a large loop with 22 sites along the 27,750-acre Hungry Horse Reservoir.  Each site has a table and fire ring.   Boating and fishing for Cutthroat Trout are popular.  Food storage recommended this is Grizzly country.  There are Vault toilets, however, water is available 5.4 miles at the Lost Johnny Point Campground. Open all year with services provided Memorial Day through Sept 30.  $12/day fee with a maximum stay of 14 days.

DIRECTIONS: In Hungry Horse, MT off US Rt. 2 at the Hungry Horse Dam West Reservoir Rd sign, turn onto West Reservoir Rd and go 15.2 Miles to campground sign.  Turn left at sign onto gravel road and go 0.9 miles to a three-way intersection.  Following sign, continue straight for another 0.1 miles to campground on the right.
