This 7 site primitive campground is the smallest campground in Glacier National Park.  It is located on the northwest side and accessed by the Inside North Fork Road to Polebridge.  It is a windy, gravel, rough road.  Rv and vehicles over 21' or truck-trailer combination are not recommended.  Vault toilets, no water.  This is bear country, so proper food storage is a must.  The 6.2 mile Lower Quartz Lake is a beautiful hike.  You may see wolves or bears on this trail, so bring your bear spray.  Polebridge is 5.7 miles away and has limited necessities.  Polebridge is known for their popular Mercantile Bakery that has amazing huckleberry bread, rolls, and cookies along with baked sandwiches.  The Northern Lights Saloon and Cafe has a variety of delicious dinner options.  Enjoy a local beer and local music sitting outdoors at a picnic table while taking in the breathtaking mountain views. A MUST place to stop.  Campsites are quiet and you can enjoy the wilderness experience.  Open June 29 through October 28.  $10/night fee.
