Fourchette Bay Campground is a primitive camping area located on Fort Peck Lake on the north side. Fort Peck Lake is formed by the Fort Peck Dam in 1940. It is the largest lake in Montana and in one of the most remote areas of Montana. Malta is the closest town. Fort Peck Lake lies within the Charles M. Russell Wildlife Refuge. Very few trees in this area. Famous for the Walleye fishing. Open all year round. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets. No water. Shade shelter and boat ramp available. No fee for campsites.
Directions: Located 58 miles south of Malta on Regina Rd for 35 miles, then continue onto Reynolds Rd for 22.5 miles to campground
