Located near a moss-covered canyon wall, with a charming creek splashing through the backyard, Rillway Cabin offers a unique setting in scenic Deep Creek Canyon. The cabin is accessible yearlong off Highway #12. It contains the following amenities: fireplace insert, propane lanterns, propane cook stove, table and chairs, three bunk beds with mattresses, silverware, dishes, cooking utensils, pots, pans, firewood, axe, shovel, bucket, outhouse, and cleaning supplies. The cabin does NOT have electricity or running water. Bring your own drinking water, sleeping bags, warm clothes, food, and flashlight. Also plan to bring one or two small propane cylinders to use in the lanterns or propane stove. Open all year round.
$45/night fee.
Directions:
This cabin is located at the 14-mile marker on Montana Highway 12, east of Townsend, Montana. From the 4-way stop in Townsend, turn east. Follow the road 14 miles and watch for the Rillway Cabin sign along the right side of the highway. Please note, due to a concern for sight distance on the highway, only right turns are allowed when departing the cabin.
