Cottonwood campground had dispersed campsites each with a picnic table and fire ring. Vaulted toilets available but no water. Located on the southern tip of Canyon Ferry Reservoir. This is a 35,000-acre lake 50 miles downstream from where the Missouri, Jefferson, Gallatin, and Madison rivers join. Popular fishing for Walleye, Perch, Ling, and Rainbow Trout. There are 3 marinas. Boat rentals available. Each site has a table and fire ring. Popular for boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing. Maximum stay 14 days. Open all year.
