There is a group shelter with 7 campsites and 8 picnic tables and a vault toilet. The main campground has 27 campsites each with a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets and water available. This campground is located at the northern end of Canyon Ferry Reservoir. This is a 35,000-acre lake 50 miles downstream from where the Missouri, Jefferson, Gallatin, and Madison rivers join. Popular fishing for Walleye, Perch, Ling, and Rainbow Trout. There are 3 marinas. Boat rentals available. Boat launch close. Popular for boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing. $8/night fee. Directions: Riverside Campground is located on Canyon Ferry Reservoir 9 miles East of Helena on US 287, 9 miles Northeast on Highway 284 then 1 mile Northwest on Forest Road 224 toward Power Plant.
