White Sandy Campground has 32 campsites and a large day use area.  Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire ring.  It located 15 miles northeast of Helena on Hauser Lake.   Boat ramp and fish cleaning station at campground.  Vault toilets and water available.  Trash service. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking, swimming, and picnicking.  Open May 15 through October 1. $15/night fee and a maximum stay of 14 days. 

DIRECTIONS: From Interstate 15 about seven miles north of Helena, take the Lincoln Road Exit and travel east until you reach a “T” in the road, turn left onto Hauser Dam Road (gravel) and drive north until you reach the turn off for White Sandy Recreation Site.
