Goose Bay Campground is a 93 site campground on Canyon Ferry Lake. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. There are 19 rustic sites. There are full hookups at 45 sites, 27 sites with just electricity. There is a convenience store nearby. Toilets, shower, and water available.
Canyon Ferry Reservoir is a 35,000-acre lake 50 miles downstream from where the Missouri, Jefferson, Gallatin, and Madison rivers join. Popular fishing for Walleye, Perch, Ling, and Rainbow Trout. There are 3 marinas. One Mariana at Goose Bay. Boat rentals available. There is a fee for camping. Open May 1 through September 15.
Directions: Goose Bay Marina Is Located On The East Shore Of Canyon Ferry Lake On Highway 284. From Townsend Go East On Highway 12 2 Miles, Then Turn North On State Highway 284. Our Access Road Is Between Miles Marker 21 And 22, Then Turn At Our Sign And It Is 3 Miles Into Marina On Canyon Ferry Lake. From Helena, Go To The Flashing Light East Of East Helena, (About 6 Miles From East Helena) Turn Left On 284 And Go To Mile Marker 21 - 22 And Turn At Marina Sign.
